This is an excellent opportunity to support our FTSE 100 Bluechip Aerospace customer with their manufacturing IT systems.

The job will include maintaining backups of critical manufacturing systems, risk registers and responding to production affecting shop floor IT incidents at their Cowes site.

The role provides a real tangible link between IT systems and aircraft production. Training will be provided for this. Whilst ideally we would like somebody from a manufacturing environment, we recognise because of the unique, exciting and largely bespoke opportunity that the successful candidate is likely a role to grow into from a foundation of existing strong IT support skills from the following areas:

  • Windows 10/11
  • Basic networking
  • Acronis Backups
  • Good customer focused attitude
  • Active directory administration
  • Change Control of production systems
  • Management and resolution of tickets using an ITSM ticketing package
  • Deploying software via SCCM Remote support through RDP, SCCM Remote control, Teams and Dameware and other remote tools.
  • Deployment of desktops and laptops to new and existing users

We will work with the successful candidate to build and develop these skills to ensure they grow and flourish into the role.
