It’s time to join the UK’s biggest independent drainage specialist

Due to company growth, Lanes Group are looking to appoint a Systems Analyst to join our growing IT department. Successful applicants will responsible for analysing and improving our IT systems, ensuring they meet the company's needs and are more efficient and secure. The role involves working closely with both the IT department and business units to develop systems solutions that support and enhance our operational efficiency and business processes.

About you:
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of modern IT systems such as Ms365, MS dynamics, and Works Management Systems. Applicants will have strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a easy understandable way. Applicants will have a good understanding of business process as well as excellent organisations and time management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training materials and programs to meet specific training needs.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching on IT topics, including business applications, process, and IT security awareness.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest IT trends, tools, and technologies to ensure training materials are current and relevant.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust them as needed to ensure they meet the learning objectives and company goals.
  • Maintain records of training activities.
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems or technologies by providing training and support to users.
  • Provide feedback to the IT department on potential system improvements based on user experiences and training outcomes.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers.
