Are you a tech-savvy problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Total Business Group has an exciting opportunity for an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our dynamic IT team.

As a member of our team, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers who need technical assistance. You'll use your skills and knowledge to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical hardware and software issues, such as troubleshooting software and operating system issues, configuring and maintaining hardware, and resolving network connectivity problems. From researching and providing answers to customer questions to advising them on appropriate actions, you'll be the go-to person for all things technical.

But it's not just about fixing problems - you'll also be responsible for logging all helpdesk interactions, administering helpdesk software, and tracking and documenting the resolution of problems and requests. You'll be able to identify and escalate urgent situations to ensure our customers receive the support they need, when they need it.

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in an IT helpdesk or similar role
  • A working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software and hardware, including Windows, MacOS, and common office applications
  • Knowledge of service ticketing applications such as AutoTask
  • Experience in customer service
  • Relevant experience and training in IT support and troubleshooting
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications would be a plus.
