Stuarts Truck and Bus, Plymouth is currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Volvo Truck and Bus dealership.

You'll be undertaking a wide range of maintenance work on various truck and bus brands, ranging from simple part replacements to solving complex faults using the latest diagnostic methods and equipment.

The Role

Maintain vehicles to MOT standard, ensuring all required repairs are carried out efficiently and on time

Working across Devon and Cornwall, you will maintain and repair Volvo vehicles and other brands

Take part in Volvo Action Service callout cover on a rota basis

Provide fault diagnosis to identify any repairs needed, ensuring your workspace, equipment and tools are kept clean, tidy and to health and safety standards.

The Hours

The working hours for this role follow an alternating shift pattern:

• · Early shifts: 06:00 - 14:30
• Late shifts: 14:00 - 22:50
• Alternating Saturday mornings: 08:00 - 12:00

About You

To be successful as an HGV Technician, you'll have:

· Relevant experience in the commercial vehicle industry

• Completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry or have equivalent experience
• At a minimum, a City and Guilds and/or NVQ 3 qualification (or equivalent)
