Full job description

Shams Britvisa Lawyers Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable IAA Immigration Adviser to join our growing team.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Must hold IAA Level 1 Adviser accreditation as a minimum.
  • IAA Level 2 or Level 3 accreditation is highly preferred.

This is an office-based role only and a self-employed / 0 hours contract. The successful candidate must be able to attend our Manchester office 4–6 days per week. Working hours can be discussed during the interview.

Main Duties:

  • Advising clients on UK immigration matters.
  • Conducting telephone and in-person consultations.
  • Responding to client enquiries by phone, email and WhatsApp.
  • Converting enquiries into paying clients.
  • Completing UK visa and immigration application forms And uploading all the docs
  • Preparing and issuing client care letters, invoices and other legal documents.
  • Booking appointments and managing client files.
  • General immigration administration and case management.
  • Liaising with clients throughout their matters and providing ongoing updates.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum IAA Level 1 Adviser accreditation.
  • Strong knowledge of UK immigration law and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and online immigration systems.
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple cases.
  • Must be able to work from our office on a daily basis.

Pay: High Percentage Commission plus Incentives/awards (travel pay to office reimbursed)

Important: This position is self-employed role and commission based only. The consultant will receive high commission plus incentives for those clients that the firm successfully bills.

It is not an employment or salaried role.

Commission structure and earning potential will be discussed during a telephone call or at the interview.
