Are you ready to join a fast-paced, hands-on role at the heart of the shipping and logistics industry? Humber Jobs is looking for reliable, hard-working labourers to support the unloading of steel vessels at Immingham Docks and assist in our busy warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discharging Steel Vessels: Safely unloading steel cargo from vessels at Immingham Docks. You will work closely with the team to ensure timely and efficient discharge.
  • Warehouse Operations: Support with lashing, securing, and unlashing steel loads in our warehouse, preparing goods for shipment or storage.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, both on the vessels and in the warehouse.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Physical Fitness: This is a physically demanding role, so you must be capable of manual handling and working on your feet for long periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Careful handling of cargo and awareness of safety regulations is essential.
  • Team Player: You’ll be part of a hardworking team, so being a strong communicator and team player is key.

What’s in it for You:

  • Overtime; opportunity for overtime when the clients require it or the flexibility to do just 2 or 3 shifts a week
  • Variety: Split your time between working on steel vessels and in a warehouse environment.
  • Career Progression: Potential for ongoing work and career growth in logistics and shipping.
