Job Title: Procurement Manager (Audiovisual)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our growing commercial AV and technology solutions business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for AV equipment, IT infrastructure, and associated services. You will work closely with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering teams to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of equipment from key vendors and distributors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the AV/IT industry supply chain, distributor relationships, and commercial negotiation, with a track record of delivering cost savings and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all procurement activities for AV, IT, and technology equipment across multiple vendor and distributor channels
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and distributors (e.g. TD SYNNEX, Midwich, Exertis, and direct vendor accounts)
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and volume discounts to maximise margins and project profitability
- Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to support accurate quoting and cost modelling for client proposals and tenders
- Track and manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery, ensuring alignment with project timelines
- Monitor stock availability, lead times, and product lifecycle changes across core brands (e.g. Crestron, QSC, Logitech, Samsung, Poly)
- Maintain accurate records of pricing, supplier agreements, and procurement data within internal systems
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supply chain optimisation
- Manage returns, warranty claims, and supplier credit processes efficiently
- Support GP and margin reporting by providing accurate landed cost data for projects
- Stay current with AV/IT industry trends, new product releases, and end-of-life notifications
- Contribute to vendor accreditation and partnership management alongside the wider leadership team
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Demonstrable experience within the AV, IT, or technology integration industry
- Strong negotiation and commercial awareness with a focus on margin optimisation
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting supplier relationships
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
