Residential Property Solicitor | 4+ PQE | London | Up to £60,000

I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an established London-based law firm looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their growing property team.

This is not your typical high-volume conveyancing role.

The position is particularly suited to a solicitor who enjoys working on complex residential property matters and acting for property investors, developers, professional landlords and limited companies.

The work will include:

  • Investment and buy-to-let transactions• Limited company purchases & sales• Portfolio landlords and professional investors• HMO transactions• Developer acquisitions & disposals• Mixed-use property• Bridging finance & refinancing• Auction transactions• New-build and development matters• Complex freehold & leasehold transactions• Restrictive covenants, easements & title issues• Transfers of part and title restructuring

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales• Have 4+ years’ PQE in residential property• Be confident managing their own caseload independently• Have experience acting for investors, landlords and companies• Have strong title investigation and reporting skills• Be comfortable dealing with lenders and property finance• Have a strong understanding of AML, source of funds and source of wealth requirements• Be commercially minded and client-focused

Experience across mixed-use property, HMOs, bridging finance, development work or commercial property would be particularly advantageous.

An existing client or introducer network would be a bonus, but not essential.

The successful candidate will be required to attend the office at least twice a week, with hybrid working available.
