Job Title: Freelance Head Food Chef – Multi-Cuisine

Position Overview:
7th Heaven is seeking an experienced Freelance Head Food Chef with a strong knowledge of multi-cuisine cooking to join our growing team in London. The ideal candidate will help us maintain the high culinary standards that 7th Heaven is known for while providing valuable guidance to our new chefs. You will be responsible for understanding, mastering, and teaching our recipes, as well as supporting new store launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recipe Mastery & Training:

Understand and master the recipes specific to 7th Heaven’s menu offerings. Transfer knowledge and techniques to new chefs, ensuring they maintain consistency and quality in their cooking.

  • Multi-Cuisine Expertise:

Utilize your experience in multi-cuisine cooking to enhance our menu and introduce new ideas in line with 7th Heaven's brand. You will be expected to bring your skills in various cuisines to elevate the customer experience.

  • New Store Launch Support:

Assist in the smooth opening of new 7th Heaven locations by helping with kitchen setup, ensuring that the food quality standards are met, and training local kitchen teams for operational efficiency.

  • Collaboration with Head Chef:

Work closely with the Head Chef (specializing in cakes) to ensure cohesive operations between the bakery and kitchen, blending our dessert offerings with food items seamlessly.

  • Quality Control:

Monitor food quality and ensure that all recipes are prepared to 7th Heaven’s exact specifications. Perform regular checks on ingredients and presentation to maintain a high standard.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a multi-cuisine chef, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international and Indian cuisines, with a focus on contemporary food trends.
  • Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities, with a passion for transferring knowledge to others.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and help with cross-functional tasks, including new store setups.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexible, proactive, and ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant culinary degree or certification is an advantage.
