PLAYERS SOCIAL is redefining what food looks like within a premium game pub

environment.

Our ambition is not to be traditional fine dining, but to deliver food with the same

discipline, care, and consistency expected of award-recognized kitchens. We are building

towards Bib Gourmand-level quality: bold, confident cooking executed with precision,

integrity, and zero compromise on standards.

We are seeking a Chef de Partie who wants to be part of that evolution.

This is an opportunity for a strong CDP , or an emerging Junior Sous, who understands

that great food in a high-energy environment requires systems, leadership, and unwavering

consistency.

You will take ownership of your section with pride and accountability. Working closely with

the Head Chef and Executive Chef, you will help drive standards across execution,

compliance, cost control, and team culture.

You will contribute not only to service, but to shaping the identity of the kitchen as we

elevate expectations within the game pub sector.

We are looking for a chef who:

- Cooks with precision and attention to detail

- Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume service without compromising standards

- Understands that structure and prep discipline are the foundation of quality

- Leads calmly and professionally under pressure

- Takes responsibility for their section as if it were their own business

Culinary Execution

- Deliver menus with consistency, pace, and presentation discipline

- Maintain exacting prep standards and section organization

- Support refinement and evolution of dishes in collaboration with the Head Chef

- Ensure every plate leaving the pass reflects the PLAYERS SOCIAL standard

Operational & Commercial Discipline

- Support food margin control through intelligent ordering and waste management

- Maintain accurate stock processes and contribute to weekly stock takes

- Assist with supplier management under Head Chef guidance

Compliance & Governance

- Maintain 100% adherence to Food Safety, COSHH, and Health & Safety requirements

- Ensure Alert65 documentation is audit-ready at all times

- Proactively identify and escalate operational risks

Leadership & Culture

- Set the tone through professionalism, punctuality, and accountability

- Support development of junior team members

- Champion a respectful, ambitious, and performance-driven kitchen culture

- Collaborate positively with Front of House to deliver a seamless guest experience

Success in this role will be measured by:

- Consistency of execution across service

- Food margin and waste performance

- Audit results and compliance integrity

- Contribution to team stability and growth

- Ability to elevate everyday pub dining into something memorable
