We currently require guest focused food and beverage service team members for our restaurants

2 Hotels -Penzance - Breakfast 07:00 - 11:00, Dinner service 5pm - 10pm

Surf Club - Marazion - Lunch and dinner service - 12:00 - 21:00

Job Overview:

The servers must have a passion for restaurants and hospitality.

Exude warmth and offer heartfelt service to our guests.

A willingness to go the extra mile and create delight for our guests through attention to detail, anticipation and a friendly smile.

Serve food and beverages as per the standards of the company.

Take food and beverage orders and clearly communicate them to the kitchen team.

Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present food and beverage menus and provide recommendations to guests
- Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.

- Deliver food and beverage to guests.
- Upsell additional beverages or specials to enhance guest experience.
- Prepare and serve beverages following standard recipes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, dining and back areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, courtesy, and professionalism.

Requirements:

- Prior experience of at least one year in a reputed restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.

- Experience of using till software such as EPOS preferable.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, very busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Passion for the restaurant industry and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively.

- Punctual, reliable, with high moral awareness.

- Must be over 21yrs old due to licensing.

- Personal hygiene basics in place.

- Presentable in line with company expectations.
