Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Tandoori Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic tandoori dishes that delight our guests and elevate our restaurant’s reputation. Your expertise in food production, kitchen management, and culinary techniques will ensure the highest standards of food safety, presentation, and flavor. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will lead by example, supervise kitchen staff, and contribute to creating an energetic and welcoming dining environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional tandoori dishes with precision and flair, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.
  • Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes served.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Manage the daily operations of the tandoori station, including inventory control and ingredient quality checks.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to deliver excellent service by serving dishes efficiently and courteously.
  • Lead kitchen team members in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within the workspace.

Experience

  • Proven culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting specializing in Indian cuisine or tandoori cooking.
  • Supervising experience in a fast-paced food service environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Experience in food production for large or diverse menus is a plus.
  • Prior experience serving guests directly or working in customer-focused hospitality roles is beneficial.
