Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing excellent guest relations.
• Present menus, take orders, and accurately input them into the POS system
• Provide recommendations on food and beverage pairings, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for billing.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed, including setting up or breaking down the dining area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
