Job Summary

As a part-time Indian Chef, you will prepare and cook Indian dishes, support smooth kitchen operations and help maintain consistent food quality. You will work alongside the kitchen team to organise food production and deliver a welcoming dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook dishes to agreed recipes and presentation standards.
• Organise food preparation and production, keeping the kitchen clean and following food safety practices.
• Coordinate with colleagues during service, communicate priorities and help ensure dishes are ready when needed.
• Support serving requirements and guide team members where appropriate. Your impact: well-coordinated preparation helps colleagues serve customers promptly and enjoyably.

Skills

Required: Practical food preparation, cooking and food safety skills, with the ability to work effectively in a kitchen and communicate clearly with colleagues. Preferred: Kitchen, culinary, hospitality or restaurant experience, particularly in Indian food production; supervising experience, team management, leadership and serving skills are advantageous for supporting an organised service.

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
