Full job description

Hourly salary: Up to £14.50 per hour including Service Charge

Recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 for the second year in a row and recognised as one of CODE's Happiest Places to work 2026, Kricket is a collection of modern Indian restaurants that combine British ingredients with the flavours and aromas of India. Having started life in a 20-seater shipping container at Pop Brixton, Kricket now operates permanent locations in Canary Wharf, Shoreditch and Soho alongside our award-winning bar concept, SOMA. The group is looking to grow further in London and internationally.

Just around the corner from our original shipping container at Pop Brixton, our Atlantic Road restaurant is a fixture of the neighbourhood. Settled into the railway arches, the space has an industrial character and features an open kitchen that brings the energy of our cooking into the room.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join the Brixton team! Someone who can run any section on the floor with ease and confidence, and who's ready to step up and take charge of the room during service. You'll be responsible for enhancing the guest experience by bringing prior knowledge, personality, and bundles of energy- while setting the standard for the team around you. Working closely with the front of house management team, you'll help lead service, support and guide the wider floor team, and take ownership of the daily tasks and duties that keep the restaurant running smoothly.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • An experienced candidate who is confident running a section and stepping up to lead the floor during service.
  • A natural leader who supports, guides, and motivates the team around them, and helps bring on more junior members.
  • A team player who is supportive and collaborative.
  • A charismatic and engaging personality who understands our brand, team culture, and, most of all, our customers.
  • Someone calm and organised under pressure, who can take ownership of daily tasks and keep service running smoothly.
  • Passion for service, people, and hospitality.

WHAT WE OFFER

Reward Yourself

  • 50% off the total bill, across the group at any time, any day, for you and up to 3 guests.
  • Cost price wine.
  • Extra day of holiday after two years with the company (capped at 35 days).
  • Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day off.
  • Code Membership
  • Employee referral scheme up to £500.

Be Yourself

  • Membership to Hospitality Rewards, with 24/7 access to its Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for mental, emotional, and financial support alongside hundreds of discounts.
  • Access to Wagestream, which allows you to access a portion of your earned wages in real-time.
  • Loyalty rewards, including a 5-year anniversary dinner with the founders, a once-in-a-lifetime trip to India, and a 5-week paid sabbatical.
  • Enhanced maternity/paternity pay & Baby First Aid classes for new parents.
  • Free mortgage advice.

Progress Yourself

  • Personal development plans.
  • Regular training sessions (both internal and external).
  • WSET courses for relevant roles.
  • Regular supplier trips.

We believe in a culture that promotes inclusivity and respect - everyone is welcome!
