Bundobust Brewery are looking for a new Assistant manager to join their team, we want someone outgoing with a passion for hospitality to come and help us run this busy city centre tap room and Restaurant.

As an Assistant manager we want you to play a key role in the running of our day-to-day operations. This means you’ll work closely with the general manager to maintain high standards across all aspects of the restaurant. Our managers take a proactive approach to team management, helping them to thrive, develop and deliver. keeping morale high and turnover low. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the business and develop in post. Never done it before? Don't worry, so long as you're curious and passionate, we’ll take care of the rest.


Key Responsibilities

  • Everybody good time: Motivate, train, and manage a team, ensuring that the guests get the best experience we can offer and that staff enjoy their time on shift.

  • Eye of the tiger: Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, stock management, compliance and ensuring the restaurant is neat and welcoming to guests.

  • Welcome Please: Deliver a memorable experience to our guests by offering hospitality over service and creating an experience that people will remember.

  • Too much spicy: Support the management team in implementing new initiatives, promotions, and training programs.

  • No Beef: work with the wider industry to help build community in and around the city.

  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

  • Sales & Financial Management: Assist with managing budgets, cost control, and achieving sales targets.

  • Staff Scheduling: Help create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while maintaining team morale.

  • Picking Winners: Helping recruit and mould a team that can deliver on any and all of its objectives
