Job Summary

Skilled Worker Visa transfer available. Must be on existing skilled worker visa within the UK.

We are seeking a talented and passionate South Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a flair for creativity and innovation in the kitchen. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage a team effectively while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The Chef will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to hospitality.

Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Develop and design menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
  • Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
  • Tamil Language preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
  • Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
