Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating high-quality dishes. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining our restaurant's reputation for excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service
  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards like Biryanis, South and North Indian Dishes, Curries Etc
  • Oversee food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and cleanliness within the kitchen environment
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
  • Develop new menu items in collaboration with management to keep offerings fresh and appealing
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Ensure all food served meets quality standards and customer expectations
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
  • Supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team
