Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Indian Chef Assistant & Potwasher to support our culinary team in delivering authentic Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic hospitality environment, working alongside experienced chefs and kitchen staff. Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing traditional Indian dishes, ensuring authenticity and quality.
  • Support the head chef in food production, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations.
  • Potwashing equipment, crockery and cutlery.
  • Manage ingredient stock levels and communicate needs to the team for efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to meet the restaurant’s standards before service.
  • Support in serving food during busy periods, ensuring timely and courteous service.
