Full job description

Job Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Chef to prepare quality dishes and help keep kitchen service running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the team to organise food production, maintain safe working practices and deliver a welcoming hospitality experience.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes to the required standards.
  • Coordinate food preparation and production to support efficient service.
  • Guide and supervise kitchen colleagues, sharing tasks and supporting teamwork.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, keeping work areas clean and organised.
  • Work with front-of-house colleagues to support serving and a positive restaurant experience.

Your impact: Consistent preparation and safe kitchen practices help guests enjoy well-prepared meals and reliable service.

Experience

  • Kitchen, cooking, food preparation or culinary experience is useful.
  • Restaurant, hospitality or serving experience is welcome.
  • Supervising experience, leadership and team management skills are advantageous.
  • A sound understanding of food safety is important.

Pay: £12.71-£17.00 per hour
