About Rebel Tiger

Rebel Tiger is a modern Indian street food brand, bringing bold Indian flavours together with healthier ingredients and contemporary cooking techniques. Operating from our professional delivery kitchen in Fulham, we're focused on delivering restaurant-quality food through Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

We're at the beginning of an exciting growth journey, and we're looking for talented people who want to help build something special from the ground up.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Lead Cook who takes pride in consistency, speed and attention to detail.

Working closely with our Head Chef, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring every dish is prepared exactly to specification and every order leaves the kitchen on time.

You'll also help us refine recipes, improve kitchen systems and support the development of new team members as Rebel Tiger grows.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook food to our standardised recipes with exceptional consistency.
  • Help refine recipes and kitchen procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Run prep, cooking and packing operations during service.
  • Ensure every dish meets Rebel Tiger's standards for quality, presentation and portion control.
  • Work efficiently across multiple delivery platforms including Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
  • Monitor food costs, portion control and minimise waste.
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
  • Support the Head Chef with kitchen organisation, production planning and daily operations.
  • Train and support new team members as the business grows.
  • Stay calm, organised and focused during busy services.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has 2–4 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Has experience working in a high-volume restaurant or delivery kitchen (ghost kitchen experience is a bonus).
  • Is comfortable following standardised recipes with precision and consistency.
  • Understands the importance of speed without compromising quality.
  • Has excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Takes ownership of their work and maintains high standards without constant supervision.
  • Is motivated, reliable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (Level 3 is an advantage).
  • Experience with Indian cuisine is desirable but not essential—we'll teach you our recipes.
  • Wants to grow with an ambitious business from the very beginning.

What We Offer

  • Salary up to £40,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Full-time, 45-hour contract.
  • Free staff meals during shifts.
  • Ongoing training and development.
  • Genuine opportunities to progress as Rebel Tiger expands.
  • A supportive team where your ideas and input will be valued.
  • The chance to help shape a fast-growing food brand from day one.
