Receptionist - 20/30 Hours

Square One Padel Club, Maidstone

We are looking for an experienced and confident Receptionist to join our front of house team at Square One, the South East’s leading indoor padel and leisure club. This is a full time role within a fast paced, customer focused environment. Experience in a reception role is essential, ideally within a leisure, fitness or sports club setting.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of the club. We are looking for someone who is organised, friendly and proactive, with exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming members and visitors, providing a warm and professional first impression
  • Managing bookings, enquiries and payments via our reception systems
  • Assisting members with club information, events and services
  • Maintaining a tidy, presentable reception area at all times
  • Supporting daily operational tasks as required
  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure a seamless member experience
  • Handling phone calls, emails and in person queries efficiently
  • Monitoring access to the club and ensuring member compliance with club policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a reception or front desk role is essential
  • Experience in a leisure, fitness or sports club environment is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confident using booking systems and basic computer applications
  • Reliable, organised and able to handle busy periods calmly
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Availability for a shift based rota including some evenings and weekends
