  • Identify and report electrical defects or potential equipment failures.
  • Support planned shutdowns, overhauls and maintenance projects.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within engineering work areas.
  • Work safely in line with company health and safety procedures, permit systems and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and electrical engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Previous electrical maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing, recycling or heavy engineering environment.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working with conveyors, shredders, motors, control panels or similar industrial machinery.
  • Good understanding of electrical systems, controls and industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • Manual handling and LOTO/isolation knowledge.
  • Awareness of PUWER and relevant electrical safety requirements.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Willingness to travel between Leicester sites when required.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to support operational requirements.

What's on Offer

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern.
  • Overtime opportunities where available.
