We are looking to add talented Cloud Architects to our database for future contract opportunities. About the opportunity

You could be partnering with cross-functional teams—engineering, operations, security and business stakeholders—to translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud architectures that support both current delivery and future growth.

What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Designing enterprise cloud solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP, with consideration for cost, performance, security and scalability
- Defining cloud architecture patterns, standards and best practices for your organization
- Leading the technical evaluation and selection of cloud platforms, services and tools
- Collaborating with development, operations and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Architecting microservices and distributed systems that support modern application delivery
- Managing integration with existing on-premises systems, APIs and enterprise solutions (including SAP environments where relevant)
- Advising on data pipelines, data quality and analytics solutions aligned to business outcomes
- Supporting teams through technical mentoring and guidance on cloud best practices
What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs and modern application architectures
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or equivalent)
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Understanding of cloud security, networking and compliance principles
- Experience with SQL databases and data architecture concepts
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent
- Experience with .NET, Java, Spring Boot or Python in cloud environments
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE cloud solutions
- Knowledge of Power BI, analytics platforms or data pipeline technologies
- Experience with Linux, Windows, networking (F5) or DMZ architecture
- BPMN or UML modelling expertise
