Chez Rose

Chez Rose is a newly opened neighbourhood bistro by chef Spencer Metzger, combining seasonal British produce with the spirit and technique of classic French cooking.

The restaurant is created in partnership with acclaimed restaurateurs Jason Atherton and Irha Atherton, who join Metzger in bringing the project to life. Together they aim to create a welcoming space, a lively elegant bistro where exceptional food, great wine, and warm hospitality take centre stage.

About you:

We are recruiting for talented and experienced Chef de Partie- all levels- to join our Kitchen Brigade. You will be passionate about everything that is food and have an eye for detail for every scrumptious plate you prepare. Additionally, working as part of a dedicated team member and showing full commitment is crucial to the success of this role.

Work structure:

Opens 7 days per week, lunch and dinner

3 doubles and 2 short shifts per week

2 days off

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create innovative and delicious dishes, ensuring they complement the overall dining experience
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times
  • Stock control and management awareness
  • Work effectively as part of a Team, collaborating with other Chefs to ensure a smooth service
  • Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu concepts
  • Adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in your capacity in a well-established Hospitality venue
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional quality
  • Proficiency in culinary arts, food production, and kitchen management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Start Date: Immediate start

Must have the Rights to work and live in the UK without restrictions as we do not provide sponsorships.
