The Role Summary: To support the MI function in providing the company with all its KPI’s and information to run the business as efficiently and effectively as possible. The scope of the role extends to all functions including and not limited to the Commercial Team, Finance, Customer Care, general business support and Operations.

To take a proactive role in ensuring all functions have their reporting requirements met whilst constantly reviewing processes and looking to enhance ways of working and results.

Due to the varied, evolving nature of the role, the MI Analyst must be flexible in their approach and delivery. They must work with the group’s IT & Data function to keep Max Energy’s IT Infrastructure up to date and capable of servicing its employees and wider business strategy.

Main Responsibilities
-· Maintain all reports & dashboards within the MI directory ensuring they are refreshed and constantly evolving.

· Liaise with all other departments where necessary to optimise processes and ensure best practice in terms of data collection & presentation is being followed.

· Help support the business through any changes to IT infrastructure working with the Group and 3rd parties where required.

· Support in the creation and development of monthly board packs.

· Develop new reports and insight to bring light to problems highlighted by key stakeholders.

· Apply own initiative to look for new insight and new software which can help the business grow and handle its data & information.

· Lead the gathering of process documentation to allow the business to monitor risk & review business critical processes and procedures on demand.

· Handle any other requests issued by senior management.

· Flexible approach to working hours

· Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures

· Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all times

· Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both yourself and others

· And any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.

Qualifications
- Preferably a recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with server-based applications for data storage and retrieval
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodologies
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex business processes and requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
