Full job description

About Morgan Clark
Morgan Clark is one of the UK’s leading firms of Loss Assessors, established over 25 years ago by Phil Morgan and Tony Clark, both of whom remain actively involved in the business today. We are a trusted and well-established name in the industry, built on integrity, professionalism, and exceptional client service. As a growing business with a dynamic team, we are now seeking an experienced Loss Assessor to join us in West London and the Home Counties.

About the Role
As a Loss Assessor at Morgan Clark, you will manage residential and commercial property claims, guiding policyholders through the claims process from start to finish. You will conduct site visits, liaise with insurers, contractors, brokers, and other relevant parties, and negotiate settlements to secure fair and timely outcomes. This is a home-based role supported by a dedicated back-office team, giving you the autonomy to manage your own caseload while being part of a collaborative and supportive company.

Ideal Candidate Location
We are ideally looking for someone based within our operating area, covering the region west of the M25 to Swindon, north to Oxford and south to Winchester. Exceptional candidates further west to Bristol will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction at every stage of the claims process.
  • Provide efficient, customer-focused, and cost-effective service by managing claims from initiation through to completion.
  • Investigate and assess residential and commercial property claims up to £1m.
  • Produce detailed reports following each visit, manage your diary, and handle your own caseload independently.

What We’re Looking For

  • CILA or CII qualification (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a property Loss Adjuster/Assessor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage a large and varied caseload
  • Excellent client relationship skills and a professional, calm approach
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships at all levels
  • Methodical, conscientious, and adaptable, especially during surge periods

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Company car, mobile phone, and laptop
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  • Clear career progression within a growing, reputable company

Additional Pay & Benefits

  • Bonus scheme
  • Company events
  • Company pension
  • Free or subsidised travel
  • Free parking / On-site parking
  • Sick pay
  • Work-from-home flexibility

If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, please apply attaching an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.
