Who We Are
Niche, established and profitable business making insurance claims for homeowners who have suffered water and fire damage, negotiating the claim to settlement , then carrying out all building works.
Allpropertyclaims is an FCA regulated established business providing an end to end service for property owners to make a claim to their insurance company for water damage, leaks and fire damage in the Greater London area. We will present the claim, survey and assess the costs of damage and negotiate a settlement after which we will carry out restoration and reinstatement works with our panel contractors. We are a small highly skilled team known and established for over 14 years in the industry providing excellent customer service and concrete results for our clients.
What You Will Do
- Examine insurance schedules received by prospective no
- Validate claims for onboarded customers and submit to insurers with our proposed scope of repairs ( SOW)
- Arrange for insurers to appoint a loss adjuster and set up a site meeting between our surveyor and the loss adjuster to progress the claim
- Negotiate the acceptance of liability, scope and pricing of property repairs with loss adjusters after the site meeting
- Deal with loss adjuster objections and scope omissions to progress the claim
- Follow up with the insurer and/or the loss adjuster to negotiate claims to settlement
- Chase insurers for payment once works are complete
- Meticulously update claims activity on a daily basis incuding telephone calls and email correspondence with key stakeholders during the claims life cycle
- Deal with customer complaints and final responses to the FOS.
- Actively obtain customer reviews following each settlement
The Type of Person We Are Looking For
- Several years experience of managing property damage insurance claims from FNOL to completion of all reinstatement works
- Ability to analyse policy wording and cover and understand how it impacts each case
- Understanding of how to argue the case with the insurer or its loss adjuster from the policyholder point of view
- Accountability and willingness to take ownership of a client claim and be responsible for the result
- Ability to use your own initiative, work on your own and think on your feet
- Can-do approach to problem solving and dealing with customer demands/complaints
- Methodical clear head, ability to strictly follow a process with close attention to detail in claims progression
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and attention to detail
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel
Training Provided
- We will train you on the specific and structured process which we use to progress claims and maintain our record of 99.5% claims agreed with insurers
- How to pro-actively push claims forward
- Negotiation techniques with loss adjusters
- Dealing with client demands
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned claims manager or senior loss adjuster to take on total ownership of a policyholder case from cradle to grave in a company which is an advocate for the policyholder and is at the very top of its game.
Where You Will Be Currently Working and Why You May Be Thinking of a Move
The successful candidate will be working for :
- an insurance company as a senior claims manager or team leader dealing with a high volume of property claims where you feel your career has stalled or you are not satisfied that you are getting the best outcome for your client and you are looking to deal with claims from the point of view of the policyholder
OR
- a loss adjuster dealing with large or complex domestic claims where you are frustrated that your hands are tied by the insurer and where you are not getting the best result of the claim for the property owner and you want to do better for the policyholder
OR
- a surveyor / operations manager at a contractor carrying out repairs for different insurance companies
