The Role

As a Claims Handler, you'll be at the core of what we do, managing mis-sold car finance claims from first contact through to resolution, making a real difference to clients who've been wronged by lenders.

A key part of the role will involve communicating directly with lenders and other businesses, so we're particularly interested in people who are confident managing professional B2B conversations, progressing cases and building relationships with external stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing a portfolio of car finance claims end-to-end, ensuring clients are kept informed every step of the way
• Communicating directly with lenders and third-party businesses to progress claims and resolve outstanding queries
• Building strong professional relationships with lender contacts and external stakeholders
• Managing B2B conversations confidently by phone and email, including chasing and escalating matters where required
• Liaising with clients, lenders and third-party providers to gather documentation and build strong cases
• Assessing claim validity and determining the best course of action
• Maintaining accurate records across our bespoke CRM system in line with company procedures
• Identifying any discrepancies or fraud risks and escalating where needed
• Ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations and legal requirements throughout

Who We're Looking For

You don't need to have worked specifically within mis-sold car finance before, but previous experience communicating with businesses, lenders or other professional third parties is important.

We'd particularly like to hear from people with experience across claims, financial services, banking, lending or other regulated environments, who are comfortable taking ownership of cases and dealing professionally with external organisations.

• Previous experience in a B2B, lender-facing or third-party stakeholder role
• Confident communicating with businesses and professional stakeholders by both phone and email
• Comfortable chasing, challenging and escalating with external organisations to progress cases
• Strong communicator; written and verbal
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Able to manage your own caseload and work independently
• Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership
• Comfortable with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of FCA regulations or car finance claims is a bonus — but not essential
