Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Manchester City Centre | Entry-Level | £28k+ OTE

Imagine this… Monday morning, catching up with your colleagues about the weekend, your inbox is buzzing with new candidates and client opportunities. You’re building relationships, making deals, and watching your hard work turn into real earnings.

By Friday, you’re leaving early knowing your week wasn’t just busy. It was profitable and rewarding.

We’re hiring Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join a high-performing, supportive team in central Manchester.

No recruitment experience? No problem! We care about drive, ambition, and communication skills.

Everything else will be taught through our structured training and mentorship programme. You’ll be building relationships with clients, sourcing candidates, writing and managing job adverts, and developing your own client base...all while learning how recruitment really works and how to grow your career quickly.

Salary, commission & progression:

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission, clear performance-based promotion paths, and structured training to get you to your first promotion fast.
  • Hit targets and watch your earnings grow, with monthly team incentives and opportunities to earn even more as you progress.

Working hours & perks:

  • Fun, collaborative team culture
  • Monthly team outings (think The Ivy, Fenix, bowling, crazy golf)
  • Holiday incentives (Ibiza, Mexico, skiing)
  • Annual summer and Christmas parties
  • Casual dress, gym membership, company pension, referral programme, unlimited paid holidays, work from home options, and sick pay.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Confident, sociable individuals with a positive attitude
  • A drive to hit targets, and the ambition to grow quickly.
  • Backgrounds in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles are perfect, but if you’ve got the right mindset, we’ll teach you everything else.

Your First-Year Journey:

Weeks 1–6: Intensive onboarding, hands-on training, and candidate management
Month 2–4: Developing your market specialism and building your personal brand
Month 4+: Business development, winning clients, and running your own desk
End of Year 1: Earning strong commission and aiming for your first promotion (Consultant → Senior → Team Lead → Manager)

Why join: This is a career that rewards performance, not just time served. You’ll be part of a supportive team, with clear progression and earnings that reflect your effort.
