Full job description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the housing community? We’re on the hunt for a dedicated and enthusiastic Intensive Support Officer to join our amazing Intensive Support team at Fairhive! If you enjoy helping others, working in a supportive environment, and contributing to meaningful projects, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the role…
As a valued team member, you will play an essential role in our daily operations where no two days are the same.
Your contributions will help the team deliver on our goals and contribute to Fairhive’s overall success. The role will require team work and collaboration so if you have previous relevant experience and a drive to succeed then we want to hear from you!
For more information, please refer to the attached job description.
This is a rewarding and varied role within our Intensive Support Team, working directly with residents who are at risk of tenancy failure. As an Intensive Support Officer, you will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support to help residents overcome challenges and successfully sustain their tenancies.
No two days are the same. You will manage your own caseload, working closely with residents in their homes and within the community, carrying out assessments, developing support plans and coordinating with a wide range of partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
The role requires a proactive and resilient individual who is confident working independently whilst also building strong relationships with internal teams and external professionals. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's lives by helping to prevent homelessness, supporting residents with complex needs and promoting independence.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, who is able to work with empathy, professionalism and a solutions-focused approach. Experience of working within housing, support services, social care, mental health, safeguarding or a related field would be beneficial.
As this is a mobile role, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check
At Fairhive Homes, we’re driven by a simple yet powerful vision: “Homes for Living, Communities for Life” This isn’t just what we do; it’s what we strive for every day. As a non-profit housing association, we’re dedicated to providing affordable housing to over 20,000 individuals in our community. Our residents are truly at the heart of everything we do.
We are dedicated to supporting our residents and neighbourhoods. Whether we are maintaining our high-quality homes or building new ones, our mission is to foster thriving communities where everyone feels welcome and can proudly say, 'This is my home.'
We believe that a strong community starts with quality housing, and we’re here to make that vision a reality.
