Tonic are searching for a General Manager to run our client's high-volume restaurant in Liverpool city centre. The site trades seven days and sits on a city centre pitch with the footfall to match, so the volume is constant and the pace is real. You will lead a team of around 30, own the P&L, labour and GP at site level, and report into an Operations Manager within a business that runs on proper systems rather than guesswork.

What are we looking for from General Manager candidates?

  • Proven General Manager experience running a high volume site within a structured, multi-site group. Strong independents will be considered only where the volume is genuinely comparable
  • Full ownership of P&L, labour and GP at site level, with the numbers to talk through at interview

  • A genuine developer of people, with retention and internal promotions you can evidence
