A practical and hands on approach is also needed for various non-desk-based activities connected to this role which may include sorting and weighing waste and recyclable materials, laboratory testing, equipment testing, van driving, schools education and consumer engagement.
The general role requirements are set out below, with training and support provided.
- Good organisational skills
- A good command of English and able to write technical and summary documents
- Proficient with general scientific principles and data analysis, and experience of working in a laboratory
- Proficient in MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint, teams)
- Degree graduate or studying towards a degree
