Catering & Hospitality Assistant
£15.85 Per Hour
Liverpool Street
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday

This is a permanent, full time role for a premium contract caterer near Liverpool Street station.

This role will suit someone who has experience in high end corporate catering, fine dining or 5 hotels. This is a mixed role, mainly focused on catering however there is an element of hospitality involved should there be events etc on.

The site itself is free issue, meaning the people in the office don't pay for their food or drink. This doesn't mean it's low quality though, quite the opposite. Think fresh food, salad stations, an ever changing seasonal menu, street food stations.

What you get

  • £15.85 per hour, 40 hours, Monday to Friday, no weekends

  • Progression on site and across a portfolio of high end London sites

The role

  • Maintain meeting rooms and client areas to high standards.
  • Greet clients and visitors with confidence and courtesy.
  • Set up and clear away catering and equipment following meetings.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or issues promptly.
  • Follow SOPs and support efficiency, sustainability and service improvements.
  • Keep the counters clean tidy and stocked up.
  • Keep tea and self serve coffee stations stocked up.

What we are looking for

  • At least a year in a premium contract catering, 5 hotel or fine dining environment, in a similar role.
  • Confident spoken English, because you will be serving senior guests and clients directly.
  • A second language is useful here due to international guests, but not essential.
  • Uniform standards are high, so you must be well presented and able to maintain this throughout the shift.
