About the Specialist Pathway (The Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) Registration)
International specialists can apply for medical registration in Australia via the Specialist Pathway with the Medical Board of Australia-AHPRA. This process involves an assessment by the relevant Australian specialist college, which evaluates your qualifications, training, and experience against Australian standards. Following assessment, you may be granted recognition to work under supervision while completing requirements toward specialist recognition and Fellowship in Australia.
