Job overview
As the Clinical EMR Implementation Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to oversee the successful integration of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system within our renal units. You'll work closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders to optimise workflows, provide user support, training and ensure the effective adoption of the EMR system. In this role you can expect to carry out below key responsibilities but not limited to:
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Own the project tasks allocated and deliver it in the clinic level as per Project Plan
- Identify and address risks and dependencies.
- Support the users acceptance testing of the EMR system
Training
- Design and deliver training programs along with the Project Team for clinical staff on EMR system usage.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure staff proficiency in using the EMR system.
- Monitor training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed.
Workflow Optimisation
- Analyse clinical workflows and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement optimized EMR workflows.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical stakeholders.
- Communicate project updates and milestones.
- Facilitate meetings to gather feedback and address concerns.
Change Management:
- Develop strategies to promote user acceptance of the EMR system.
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting assistance during go-live.
- Develop training materials and documentation for end-users.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor key performance indicators and assess the impact of the EMR implementation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Registered Nurse in UK, preferably working with DaVita UK.
- Haemodialysis experience of minimum 4 years.
- Clinical experience in healthcare settings, preferably in a leadership/coordination role.
- Strong project management skills and understanding of healthcare technology.
- Experience working in an EMR environment in Haemodialysis settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will be expected to continuing work clinically in minimum 25% of your time as the project implementation workload may vary.
As the Clinical EMR Implementation Lead, you'll play a vital role in enhancing patient care and operational efficiency through the successful implementation of the EMR system.

- EMR project implementation – report to Director of Operations and Clinical
- Clinical care – report to the Clinic manager of the Clinic
