Company Overview

OACP is the trade organisation for adult social care providers in Oxfordshire. We work with care homes, home care agencies, supported living providers, mental health charities, day services and many voluntary and commercial partners.

We collaborate closely with Oxfordshire County Council, NHS partners, Digital Care Hub, Skills for Care and our regional and national Care Association Alliance colleagues. Our work includes:

  • Supporting best practice and promoting good care
  • Delivering training, webinars and sector networks
  • Advocating for the sector and sharing good news stories
  • Providing practical support to providers across the county

We are a small, dynamic organisation where your contribution will be visible and valued.

Summary

OACP is looking for a proactive, organised and relationship‑focused Project Worker to help deliver a range of high‑impact programmes supporting adult social care providers across Oxfordshire and the wider Thames Valley.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and meaningful work. You’ll be part of a small, friendly, mission‑driven team working closely with local authorities, the NHS, national partners and hundreds of care providers.

Why this role matters

Adult social care is under huge pressure and the work you do will directly support providers to improve digital compliance, strengthen workforce pathways, and create opportunities for displaced international workers. You’ll help deliver webinars, engagement activity, and practical support that makes a real difference to the sector.

As a micro‑organisation, OACP offers a rare chance to work closely with senior leaders, shape how projects run, and develop your skills quickly.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support the smooth delivery of several key programmes by:

  • Coordinating project activity, including webinars, meetings, phone and email engagement with providers.
  • Building and maintaining accurate contact lists of adult social care organisations.
  • Liaising with care providers across the Thames Valley to understand needs and support goals.
  • Gathering, analysing and summarising information for project status reports.
  • Helping to deliver project targets and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Supporting communication plans and ensuring partners are kept informed.
  • Facilitating change requests and tracking impacts on timelines and budgets.
  • Compiling monitoring data for internal and external reporting.
  • Managing day‑to‑day project tasks including calls, emails, spreadsheets, and online meetings.
  • Ensuring GDPR and data security standards are upheld.
  • Representing OACP at internal and external meetings.
  • Contributing to the development of project documents and resources.
  • Taking part in training and development as required.

Pay: £28,684.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension

Application question(s):

  • You have strong organisational skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.
  • You are comfortable working in a complex environment with diverse stakeholders.
  • You are able to manage competing demands and prioritise effectively.
