Full-Time Live-in Nanny/Governess – UK & Riyadh

A warm, respectful, and welcoming international family is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly engaging live-in Nanny/Governess to care for their two delightful boys, aged 2 and 4 years old.

The family divides their time between the United Kingdom and Riyadh; therefore, the successful candidate must enjoy travelling and be adaptable to different environments.

This is a sole-charge daytime position, working alongside a dedicated night nanny who provides overnight support.

  • Full-time, live-in position
  • 6 days per week
  • 1 full day off each week

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and joyful environment that encourages the children's emotional, social, and educational development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional daily care for both children.
  • Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational and creative activities.
  • Promoting language development, curiosity, confidence, and independence through play and everyday learning opportunities.
  • Teaching the children new skills and concepts on a daily basis in a fun, interactive manner.
  • Encouraging excellent manners, positive behaviour, and healthy routines.
  • Organising outings, arts and crafts, reading sessions, imaginative play, and other enriching activities.
  • Ensuring the children's happiness, wellbeing, safety, and emotional development at all times.
  • Maintaining the children's bedrooms, play areas, wardrobes, and belongings in an organised condition.
  • Packing and unpacking the children's luggage for family travel.
  • Travelling internationally with the family as required.
  • Working collaboratively with the parents and other household staff to ensure consistency in the children's care.
  • Occasionally checking on the children during the night if one of them is unwell. (A dedicated night nanny is employed by the family and provides the primary overnight care.)

  • Experienced with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
  • Passionate about early years education and child development.
  • Able to create a happy, stimulating, and structured environment where the children can thrive.
  • Organised, discreet, flexible, and adaptable to an international lifestyle.
  • Comfortable travelling extensively with the family.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages would be advantageous).
  • Experienced within private households and accustomed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
