Overview

Rather Outdoors, the owners of many of the biggest and best angling brands in Europe, are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager. Based in the UK, the successful candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies across Europe to enhance product visibility, drive sales, and strengthen relationships with retailers both instore and online. Key Roles

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives and drive product visibility for both instore and online retail channels
  • Collaborate with account managers and key account managers to ensure promotional campaigns are effectively communicated and executed
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions and merchandising including point-of-sale displays and product placements to increase shopper engagement and conversion
  • Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to optimize marketing initiatives and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Manage trade marketing budget, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Build relationships and visit with online and offline retail customers to understand consumer behaviour, competitor analysis and market trends
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness, reporting insights and performance metrics to senior management

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in multi-country trade or retail marketing, with a track record of successful campaign execution – preferably within the outdoors sector
  • Proven track record of working on successful POS campaigns inside retail stores
  • Strong analytical abilities, project management, budget management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of shopper psychology and retail environments is highly valued
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields
  • Understanding and interest in angling advantageous but not essential
