Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Administration Intern to join our Purchasing Team for a six-week placement. This is an excellent opportunity for a student, or someone looking to gain valuable office experience in a fast-paced business environment.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Purchasing Team, helping to ensure orders are processed efficiently and records are maintained accurately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, pays close attention to detail, and is eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with raising and processing purchase orders.

· Support the Purchasing Team with general administration tasks.

· Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.

· Monitor and track supplier orders and deliveries.

· Prepare and organise documentation and reports.

· Respond to internal queries and liaise with suppliers when required.

· File, scan, and manage electronic documents.

· Help ensure purchasing information is accurate and up to date.

What We're Looking For

· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

· Good organisational and time-management skills.

· Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Previous administration experience is beneficial but not essential.
