Are you passionate about raising aspirations, widening opportunities and helping young people secure ambitious futures?

We are recruiting for a Student Progression, Outreach & Employability Officer to join a high-performing secondary school and sixth form in Southwark. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping students' academic, professional and personal journeys, helping them access leading universities, competitive apprenticeships and meaningful career pathways.

The Role

As Student Progression, Outreach & Employability Officer, you will lead and coordinate a wide range of enrichment, careers and progression initiatives designed to inspire students and prepare them for life beyond school.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Leading and developing flagship outreach and aspiration programmes

· Managing and overseeing Unifrog across Key Stages 3–5

· Taking responsibility for post-16 and post-18 progression destinations

· Planning and delivering Aspirations Evening and other high-profile events

· Coordinating student societies and super-curricular opportunities

· Supporting the delivery of UCAS applications and university progression pathways

· Managing scholarship, bursary and widening participation opportunities

· Leading the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) programme

· Overseeing Future Scholars and Future Professionals initiatives

· Organising lecture programmes, enrichment activities and external partnerships

· Supporting the development of students' communication and oracy skills

· Coordinating Year 10 and Year 12 work experience programmes

· Managing careers education provision and employer engagement activities

· Supporting students with internships, paid placements and employability opportunities

· Working closely with senior leaders, pastoral teams and external organisations to maximise student outcomes
