Junior Health & Safety Consultant

We are an established Health & Safety consultancy based in Strood, Kent, supporting a diverse range of clients across construction, commercial and corporate environments. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Junior Health & Safety Advisor & Trainer to join our expanding team.

Salary: £30000 - £35000; with a good package and rising as experience is gained

‪The Role:

Working alongside experienced consultants, you will support our clients in developing and maintaining effective health and safety management systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing health and safety advice and support to clients.
• Assisting with the development and review of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conducting workplace inspections, audits and DSE assessments.
• Supporting clients with risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Assisting with accident and incident investigations and recommending improvements.
• Maintaining accurate health and safety documentation and training records.
• Delivering health and safety training and toolbox talks where appropriate.
• Supporting fire safety arrangements, inspections and drills.
• Assisting clients in meeting their legal health and safety obligations.
• Providing administrative support to ensure compliance systems are maintained.
• Undertaking other reasonable duties as required.

About You:

Essential Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 Occupational Health & Safety qualification.
• CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• PTTLS, AET or other recognised training qualification.
• Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
