Investment Banking teams partner with corporate clients to achieve strategic goals through long-term relationships and strategies that foster growth and innovation. We provide sound advice, access to funds, and connections, while managing risk in today's complex environment. You'll join one of our Coverage, Advisory or Capital Markets teams, spanning sectors such as Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, Technology, Financial Institutions, Real Estate and more, or product areas including M&A, Corporate Finance Advisory, Infrastructure, Ratings Advisory, Sustainable Solutions, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets.
Job Summary
As an analyst in our Global Investment Banking team, you will join a collaborative, supportive team, and we want your diverse perspective to help us innovate the next wave of products and solutions for our clients.
You will have the opportunity to analyze market data, manage client transactions, and come up with innovative solutions to complex business challenges. We will provide you with the necessary support and training to help you succeed in this dynamic and collaborative work environment.:
Our nine-week program kicks off with five days of orientation and training, giving you technical and practical skills. Top performers may receive a 2028 full-time analyst offer at the end of the summer.
You will have the opportunity to analyze market data, manage client transactions, and come up with innovative solutions to complex business challenges. We will provide you with the necessary support and training to help you succeed in this dynamic and collaborative work environment.:
Job Responsibilities
- Analysing market data, building detailed financial models and preparing client presentations for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and capital markets advisory.
- Managing client transactions from pitch to close under the guidance of our senior leaders.
- Coming up with innovative and creative ways to solve complex, real-world business challenges.
- Learning how we help clients and communities grow, no matter their needs.
- Sharpening your technical skills.
- Building your professional network with mentors, senior executives and others.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment
- Being adaptable, flexible and resilient
- Knowing your way around Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Fluency in English
- Expected graduation date: 2028. If you plan to pursue further education beyond your undergraduate studies, please ensure this is accurately reflected in the graduation date entered on your application
- You must be available during the months stated in the Job Title
- Being on-track for a United Kingdom 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in your undergraduate studies.
