FINANCE ASSISTANT £30K FT

THE EMPLOYER

Consensus Capital Group is a privately owned diversified investment company in Edinburgh and is searching for an experienced Finance Assistant.

The company's activities cover a wide range of businesses in Property Investment, Property Management and Property Development together with trading business in the sectors of Early Years Care and Elderly Care.

The successful candidate for this role will perform an important role in the company and work very closely with the Finance Manager to assist the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the team. Within this role you will be focused on:

· General finance tasks including entering supplier invoices onto Sage200

· Assisting in the preparation of month end

·Bank and credit card reconciliation

-Reconcile supplier accounts

· Allocate payments and prepare payment runs

· Intercompany recharges

· Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following experience:

· Previous accounts and bookkeeping experience for a minimum of 3 years.

· An experienced user of Sage200 and Microsoft Excel

· Confident user of standard desktop office software

· Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and dealing with a very wide-ranging to-do list

· Be an excellent problem solver and be able to apply common-sense to any situation

· Be able to work on their own initiative and organise their day as required

· Be a personable and confident communicator

EXPERIENCE

· Microsoft Excel: 3 years (required)

· Bookkeeping: 3 years (required)

· Accounting software: 3 years (required)

· Sage 200: previous experience (required)

BENEFITS:

  • Annual Salary £30,000 (FT)

· Monday to Friday 35 hours per week

- Flexible schedule available minimum 28 hours per week

· Workplace Pension Employer contribution 5%

· Holidays 29 days plus Christmas break.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
