Full job description

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Exam Invigilator to support the successful delivery of internal and public examinations at Dulwich Cranbrook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations across all exam sessions.
  • Lead and coordinate the invigilation team, ensuring consistent practice and high standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for invigilators, candidates, and exam room queries.
  • Support the Exams Officer with exam-related paperwork, providing a reliable second pair of eyes where required or recommended.
  • Assist with exam room setup, secure handling of materials, and maintaining student conduct.
  • Reduce reliance on teaching staff for invigilation duties, allowing them to focus on their core responsibilities.
  • Provide assurance to school leadership that the examination process is being delivered securely and professionally.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience as a Lead Invigilator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of JCQ regulations and best practices in exam administration.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail and a calm, authoritative presence.
  • Flexibility to work during exam periods, including early mornings or late afternoons.
