Tregarthen’s Hotel on the Isles of Scilly, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join their housekeeping team for the remainder of the 2026 season.

Ideally situated on St Mary’s, the hotel boasts outstanding views across Tresco, Bryher, Samson and St Martin’s. Along with a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a staff uniform, an end of season bonus, and a share of gratuities. This is a live-in role, with accommodation provided.

This is a full-time seasonal position. Applicants must be available to start work on or around the 1st August 2026 and be able to work through to 26th October 2026 and must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:

· Clean and prepare guest rooms to a high standard

· Maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel

· Change bed linens, restock amenities and replenish towels

· Report maintenance issues or damages promptly

· Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures

· Support the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations

Key Requirements:

· Committed to providing outstanding service to our customers in the hotel

· Experience in a similar role, gained from a restaurant or hotel

· Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards

· A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team

· Good time management and the ability to work independently

· Reliability, professionalism and a friendly manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.75 per hour
