Full job description

We’re looking for an experienced Pasta Chef to join our kitchen team at La Piola Leeds.

We’re a busy independent Italian Restaurant- osteria in Leeds city centre, focused on honest Italian cooking, good ingredients and homemade food.

The role will mainly involve running the pasta section, including:

  • Preparing and cooking pasta dishes during service
  • Fresh pasta preparation
  • Preparing sauces and ingredients for the section
  • Keeping consistency and presentation to our standards
  • Managing your own section during busy services
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness at all times

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable in a busy kitchen, organised, reliable and genuinely interested in Italian food.

Experience with Italian cooking and fresh pasta is strongly preferred.

We’re a small team, so attitude is just as important as experience. We want someone who gets involved, helps the team and takes pride in what goes out of the kitchen.

Full-time position.
Competitive salary depending on experience.
