About Lucia

Lucia is a vibrant and popular Italian restaurant known for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisor to support our management team and help deliver an exceptional guest experience every day.

Role Overview

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant during your shift, lead and motivate the front-of-house team, and ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and presentation are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise restaurant operations during service periods.
  • Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house team members.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance development.
  • Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the venue.
  • Coordinate reservations, seating plans, and guest flow.
  • Support management with opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management where required.
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a busy restaurant, hospitality, or hospitality venue.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Right to work in the UK.
