Full job description

Olivae is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Members to join our growing Italian restaurant in the heart of Disley.

The successful candidate will play an important role in preparing and delivering high-quality Italian dishes in a fast-paced, professional kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your culinary skills, gain valuable experience in hospitality, and be part of a supportive, close-knit team.

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential — full training will be provided. What matters most is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for food.

A commitment to food safety, quality, and delivering a great dining experience is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and plating, ensuring every dish meets Olivae’s quality and presentation standards
  • Support daily kitchen operations, including chopping, prepping, assembling ingredients, and maintaining smooth service
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety regulations
  • Follow all health and safety procedures during food preparation and service
  • Assist with stock rotation and organisation, notifying supervisors of low inventory
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience
  • Support the team during busy services and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous kitchen or catering experience is beneficial but not required
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen
  • Passion for Italian cuisine and hospitality
