We are looking for a passionate and energetic Bartender to join the team at Fano Italian Restaurant. As the heartbeat of our bar, you will create memorable guest experiences through exceptional drinks service, warm hospitality, and a genuine passion for Italian culture.

From expertly crafted cocktails and aperitivos to authentic Italian espresso and speciality coffees, you will help bring the vibrant atmosphere of Fano to life. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves delivering outstanding service with personality and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, aperitivos, beers, and soft drinks
  • Operate our Italian espresso machine to craft high-quality coffees including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and speciality drinks
  • Deliver warm, friendly, and attentive guest service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed
  • Take drink orders efficiently and accurately during busy service periods
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar area throughout service
  • Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth communication and service flow
  • Handle card, cash, and POS transactions responsibly
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, licensing, and health & safety procedures
  • Support the wider restaurant team when needed to create an exceptional guest experience

Skills & Attributes

  • Friendly, confident, and professional personality with a passion for hospitality
  • Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred, but full training can be provided
  • Strong coffee knowledge including espresso preparation, milk steaming, and latte art
  • Good understanding of cocktails, spirits, wines, and aperitivo culture
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment
  • Passion for Italian food, drinks, and guest experience
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
