About the Role

This is an exciting time to join a well known organisation as it continues to grow, and as a Senior Investigator, you'll play a vital part in protecting our platform and supporting our business or retail customers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Investigating complex or high-risk anti-money laundering alerts on business accounts.
  • Taking responsibility for recommending Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) to be filed by our EU branch.
  • Making business onboarding decisions in high-risk or complex cases.
  • Conducting ongoing due diligence on high-risk business accounts.
  • Providing financial crime expertise and support to other operational teams across the business.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in Italian (both written and verbal).
  • Solid experience conducting high-risk business banking screening or complex business financial crime investigations.
  • Experience making independent, risk-based financial crime decisions within a regulated financial services firm.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the current financial crime landscape in the UK and the EU, along with associated financial crime risks.

Working Hours & Training Schedule

The working hours to be covered by the team will be 7am - 6:30pm OR 12pm - 8:30pm. This is based on 8.5 hours per day (including a 1-hour lunch break) and will include 1 in 4 weekends. We do need candidates to be flexible in order to meet customer demand.

The start date for this role will be Monday 14th September 2026. You must be able to commit to the first 8 weeks of training (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm). Please note that no holidays or time off can be authorised during this initial training period.
