Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated live-in carers who speak Filipino or Italian to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in their own homes. This rewarding role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities, ensuring they maintain independence, comfort, and dignity. The ideal candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and committed to delivering personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs. This position is paid and requires live-in availability to offer consistent, around-the-clock support.

Duties

  • Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
  • Support clients in adhering to their care plans by monitoring health conditions and reporting changes promptly
  • Assist with medication management and ensure medication schedules are followed accurately
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, healthcare professionals, and team members in English or Italian as needed
  • Use IT tools to update care records, document daily activities, and communicate relevant information efficiently

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Filipino or Italian with strong communication skills in English
  • Previous experience in home care or working within a care home environment is preferred
  • Ability to drive is a plus but not mandatory; valid driving license is advantageous for certain roles
  • Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
  • Familiarity with basic IT systems for documentation purposes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring and respectful attitude towards clients
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism
